After working in B2B software sales for the past six years, I recently made a career change to Design.
Currently I'm designing for the Data Ingestion team at Braze, a software company that makes a customer engagement platform.
Working in sales has taught me how to actively listen, and understand the pains and challenges that someone might be experiencing. From there, how might my solution provide value?
This is where I see a big parallel between sales and design. Because at the core, it's about solving problems. Moving forward, I want to help people and businesses solve problems as an empathetic and efficient designer.
