Project Type: Digital Movie Catalog
Length: 2 weeks
Launch Year: 2022
Growing up, I remember watching several classics animated by Studio Ghibli. Now that I'm older, it's nostalgic to look back on these films and remember some of my childhood. I designed this project as a fun way to catalog all of the films that Studio Ghibli has animated in chronological order and hope to watch them all one day.
All images, descriptions, and materials belong to Studio Ghibli, IMDB, and Wikipedia.
Project Type: Clothing + Merchandise (bag, cards)
Length: 1 month
Launch Year: 2021
Good Day (좋은 하루 in Korean) is a concept I've been thinking of for awhile. I finally had the opportunity to design clothing and merchandise for a Friendsgiving party. Each guest received a package consisting of a shirt, tote bag, and card designed by me. This was a really fun way to work with a variety of prints (clothing, bags, cards) and give something wearable to friends. "Good Day" is also a play on my name, since the first part of my Korean name sounds like "Day."
One of my packaging ideas for a custom box. Unfortunately I couldn't have these ready in time for the launch party, but it was still fun to design this. Image is from Packlane.
Cards which were included with the shirt and bag. All images are from Kakao.
Project Type: Fashion Lookbook (printed + digital)
Length: 2 months
Launch Year: 2019
Locations: Pratt Institute, Storm King, Brooklyn Heights Promenade
Towards the end of 2019, I designed and printed my first lookbook around the theme of "What Fall Means to You." This project gave me the chance to reflect more on my growing interests in fashion, and portrait photography. Through the process I learned about coordinating photoshoots, taking + editing portraits, and preparing assets for print. Overall, it was super rewarding to see an idea from my head become a real, physical book that I can look back on.
